Calling Volunteers for WLT’s Mountain Lake Preserve Trail Clearing! (see photos attached)

A huge thank you to all who came out last year to help WLT in getting our trails ready for the 2025 hiking season, and an early reminder that we will be needing your help again in 2026! This year, our efforts will focus on preparing a loop trail on our new Mountain Lake Preserve site. This is the perfect opportunity to get a glimpse of our recent acquisition, while also taking part in the building of our newest walking path. Bring your enthusiasm...and how about a friend or two? 

Details for trail-clearing newcomers:

• Approximately 2 hours of your time

• Dress appropriately for tick avoidance

• Bring work gloves, water, and any equipment you may have, such as loppers and handsaws
