Celebrate the Preservation of Tanner Farm!

Join Warren Land Trust and Northwest CT Land Conservancy for a Conservation Conversation at the new Tanner Farm Preserve!

Each year the statewide Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC) highlights CT conservation success stories with Conservation Conversations. This is an opportunity for legislators, local officials, and community members to visit land conservation projects made possible by state, federal, and local investments or private donations, notably the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection's Open Space & Watershed Land Acquisition Program (OSWA), funded by the Community Investment Act.

Conservation Conversations are casual celebrations of local conservation projects. You are welcome to a walk and talk about the importance of conservation and the State of Connecticut’s Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition Grant Program (OSWA) that helped fund the farm’s conservation.

There will be a sneak peek at the future Tanner Farm Preserve trail network, and light refreshments will be served.
