  • 1-11 Sackett Hill Road Warren, CT, 06777 United States (map)

THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!  AMUSEMENTS, SOCIAL ACTIVITY & COMMUNITY BUILDING THROUGH THE AGES IN WARREN

How have people in Warren and other small New England Towns had fun, from colonial times until more recently? A walk around Warren Center, from the Academy (home to Warren’s Singing School and Grange meetings), to the Library (site of the original Warren Consolidated School, with its recitals, sewing circle, and Shakespeare Club) to the current Community Center, where we will conclude at the Warren Historical Society museum space to see interesting entertainment-related items from the collection. Warren Historical Society Curator Heather Forstmann will narrate our walk with wit and an eye for fascinating historical detail.   2 hours - 1 mile
